Sara Davies shares her latest craft gift for Strictly's Janette and Aljaž

Such an adorable decoration for a nursery

Sara Davies is one of our favourite celebrity crafters – and her latest craft project is the perfect gift to welcome a new baby into your family or circle of friends.

Sara took to her Instagram to show off her gift to her famous friends who have become new parents. Former Strictly Come Dancing starts Janette Manrara and Aljaž Škorjanec welcomed their daughter Lyra Rose on 28 July.

To celebrate the birth of baby Lyra, Ultimate Wedding Planner star Sara made a gorgeous lollipop garland for Janette and Aljaž to hang in their home.

She posted a step-by-step of making the sweet decoration on her Instagram, alongside a caption saying: "It’s been a couple of weeks since we went to visit @aljazskorjanec and @jmanrara and meet little baby Lyra (who is just deliciously gorgeous by the way!) anyway I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t crafted up some little keepsake to take for them".

Sara made the garland using pretty pastel fabric, and decorated each lollipop with dots of paint. Her no-sew method used makes it a great craft project for beginners, as no sewing machine is required.

Note: This craft idea is a decoration and not a toy, and should be kept out of reach of babies, toddlers and small children.
